Julie Chen Moonves is the host of the 22nd season, premiering on CBS August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as the moderator and one of the early hosts on The Talk. She won an Daytime Emmy Award for her work. But her real passion was when she added writing to her roles and earned an Emmy for it. The Talk, her outstanding talk show won her an Emmy. The Talk is a show which analyzes current affairs by having five host. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS Newsthe weekday morning show The Early Show in 2002 as well as in 2010, before becoming the host of the talk show. Her prior roles included anchoring CBS Morning News and The Early Show. The anchor was escorted to Cairo following the 9/11 attacks and gave an exclusive and riveting interview with the father of the primary hijacker.
